Chief Executive Officer - SILON Asia

SILON Group, the world's leading manufacturer of technical compounds, is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Chief Executive Manager for a future production plant in Vietnam.  

The ideal candidate either lives in Vietnam or is willing to relocate to Vietnam, is familiar with the culture of the country and is fluent in Vietnamese and English.

General responsibilities

• Development and strategic management of production plant based in Vietnam or ASEAN
• Management of local teams and coordination of activities between the plant and the Headquarters
• Overseeing day-to-day operations including production processes, maintenance, quality assurance, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, recruitment, etc.
• Developing relationships with existing and potential customers
• Preparing, updating and evaluating the company's sales and marketing strategy
• Participating in the development of operational, financial and investment plans
• Compliance with occupational health and safety, fire prevention, and environmental protection
• Communicating with shareholders, government entities, the public and media

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as CEO or in other managerial position
• Strong leadership ability
• Fluent English and Vietnamese, knowledge of Czech is an advantage
• Strategic mindset with outstanding organizational skills
• 5 years of industry experience preferred
• Knowledge of financial management and cash flow analysis
• Familiarity with corporate governance and legal compliance
• Familiarity with various business functions such as sales, marketing, etc.
