Chief Executive Officer - SILON CZ Recycling

The SILON Group is seeking suitable candidates for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for its production plant SILON CZ Recycling s.r.o., located in Libuň.

The successful candidate will initially hold the position under an employment contract. After six months and successful performance, he or she will be entered in the Commercial Register as Chief Executive Officer.  

As the Chief Executive Officer, you will help shape the company's long-term vision, foster the Corporate culture, and support growth in the following areas:

Leadership and Process Management

• process owner of strategic management process
• review of product realization and support processes and improvement of their effectiveness and efficiency
• identification of process resposible and competent process owners
• assurance of optimum co-operation between SILON entities in achieving of the business goals

Sales

• shaping and development of the relationships to market participants, customers and cooperation partners
• assurance of an efficient product marketing and a targeted market and customer information as well as communication
• assurance of the comprehensive customer service orientated on the respective requirements through the suitable key-accounting structures involving all the respective business areas
• elaboration of a detailed sales and turnover planning in the scope of corporate planning
• assurance of an appropriate Customer Relationship Managements with the target to improve the customer commitment continually

Procurement

• assurance of development and implementation of the balanced purchase strategy and purchase optimization concerning the optimum supplier choice, advantageous prices, quality increase, rapidity, flexibility and supplier reliability
• guaranteeing of supply security of production, taking into consideration the capital commitment

Investments

• participate in development of short and midterm investment planning; propose a yearly investment plan and manage its execution
• plan and execute the purchase of investment goods, organize a proper supplier selection to minimize the cost
• manage the investment planning documentation and authority approvals
• manage the external service selection from quality, reliability and cost point of view and monitor the performance of contractors
• monitor the start-up processes, the fulfillment of supplier guarantees and the execution of take-over documentation
• manage an investment documentation in line with external and internal requirements

Marketing

• establish an effective internal and external communication of company values
• develop plans for improved brand awareness and corporate identity
• implement an effective sales support, building successful long-term customer relationship
• monitor the customer satisfaction and market developments
• develop a modern mix of marketing instruments like sales support, events and fairs, online marketing and other

Marketing

• University degree in business or engineering
• experience in a senior management position
• at least 5 years of industry experience (polymer recycling)
• communication skills and strong leadership
• deep knowledge of the markets and legislation in the field of recycled materials
• very good command of English (in addition to Czech)
• outstanding problem-solving skills
