Polyamide 12 is a technical thermoplastic from the polyamide family, produced by polymerizing laurolactam. Compared to commonly used PA6 and PA66, it has lower density, lower moisture absorption, and better dimensional stability. As a result, it retains its mechanical properties even under demanding conditions.
